I've reached my BFing goal! Question about weaning...
This Friday DD will be 6 months old!!!  6 months was my goal to EBF (well ok...6 DAYS was my initial goal and thankfully it has gone well!). 3 days ago I started giving her 1 FM bottle a day to see how she would tolerate it and so far so good. I go back to work on Thursday ( ) so I will BF in the am and PM for a bit longer and give her pumped bottles/FM bottles during the day.
How can I make the engorgement issue less painful? Stop pumping/nursing cold turkey or gradually?

Congrats. I weened at 6 months also.. Good for you!!! any amt of time is good. Gradually wean, less painful on you!!!

the engorgement will ease as it adjusts to your new schedule!! just give it a few days and you should be fine!
