Its official I have

a double chin..I really am beside myself prior to being pregnant I was a gym rat but whatever! My question is does it really take aobut a year for the fatness to come off?

Awh- Don't worry. I do not think it will take a year especially if you were into the gym and in shape before hand. I think a lot of things affect how long it takes- age, shape before PG, genetics, etc. Some of my friends were down 90% of the weight within 6 weeks. I am hoping to be as lucky as them,

I had #1 in July and by October I was about 10lbs from my goal wieght. I felt pretty good! So it doens't take too long. But then I got pregnant again, a true blessing, but the 'fatness' just started all over!

I think having been a gym rat beforehand will probably help your cause even more. I hear that, the better shape you were in before (and if you maintain minimal exercise while PG), the easier your recovery and return to normalcy will be. Not that I ever lift a finger, but I just hear that from other people.
