It's happening...I'm getting sick of my Christmas tree
We usually put up our tree 2 weeks before Christmas and take it down New Years or the weekend around then.
We hosted a Christmas party so we put it up early.
I'm getting sick of looking at it.
I'm no curmudgeon-I love Christmas. The tree is very pretty but the fact of the matter is that a tree has been in my living room for nearly 3 weeks already.
How do those crazies leave trees up year round?

people down the block from me!
it has been in their window since last christmas!!! they took it down a few days before thanksgiving and put up halloween decorations.......and shockingly enough the halloween stuff is still up and they have no christmas stuff up yet.
for a long time i thought the house was vacant!

Me too! Never trees. My goodness
I swear I read something about a guy that has a Christmas room in his house-the tree is always up. I can't find it!

My sister knew a girl in HS that kept a Christmas "room". They had their tree all decorated, their snow village, stockings, and all other Christmas related decor on display in a spare bedroom. During the regular part of the year they simply kept the door closed. Once December rolled around they OPENED the door. Ta-DAH!

My tree has been up since Friday and I'm already sick of it so I'm glad I have company. I was starting to feel like a total Scrooge!

I can think of (in my opinion - i don't wnat to offend any one) plenty of"better" uses for a spare room in my house .......enormous walk in closest for one  LoL

I find that creepy. I would be scared of it at night.

My eye Dr keeps his tree up in the office all year, but they change the decorations on it to whatever the next holiday is or whatever the current season is.. it's actually kind of pretty!  Wouldn't do it in my house though..
