It's getting very real
So last week we finished the nursery and today we put together the swing, PNP, high chair, and bouncy seat. I look around here now and realize...another human being is going to be living here in a couple of weeks. Holy crap!  Don't get me wrong, I am very excited but still...holy crap.

When you get home from the hospital and you sit down and see that little one in the swing.. it hits ya.. oh crap there now is another one living here... but you wont be able to keep your eyes off him/her and just want to sit there for hours and hours.

I agree!!! We got the nursery done and I have been packing my bag, steralizing pacifiers, and washing baby clothes/blankets/burp clothes. It is so sureal!!!!

You know what's the weirdest thing...
When you get home from the hospital, you put the baby down in the carrier in your home and just look at him/her. Then you look at your dh and think...."now what?"
It's the strangest feeling in the world. It's like a big pink elephant is standing in the room and have no idea what to do with it.

I feel the same way. We have everything set-up and I need to pack my hospital bag. I keep thinking I have time to wash things, but after being in L & D the other day, I'm not taking any chances!!

it is totally surreal.....
your post reminded me that after my showers (8/20 and 8/23) we'll have to assemble everything! Would you believe it never occurred to me... another preggo-brain moment, for sure.....
