It just took me 4 hours to get to work. UPDATED with my glorious commute home.
I commute from Queens to Westchester. Everything was closed due to flooding. I am tired, headachy, and VERY cranky, and have to leave the office in less than an hour for a meeting and a home visit. I want to cry. 
Okay, vent over.
3 hours and 20 minutes to get home...this time, I did cry!

it took me 2 hours
I thought of you when I heard the sprain was closed
I-95 was a parking lot- a fed ex truck over turned heading south and it was a mess

I was thinking of you when I heard about I-95.
I spent most of my time sitting on the closed Hutch.

Oh gosh Jackie - so many time I have been in your place and just ready to turn around and go home.
Tonight when you get home have a couple of glasses of wine and a nice hot bath and try and forget about it.

My commute to work is 30 minutes, this morning it took me almost 2 hours. I thought I was going to cry when I got to work.
Coming home no accident, just the traditional Friday night drivers. Took me over an hour to get home.
I totally understand. Thank goodness for the weekend

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this too. My DH had to go through the same thing and can sympathize with you. Where do you work? My DH works in White Plains.

Wow, it must have been bad for the Sprain to have been closed, since I know that's a little higher than the Bx River and Saw Mill, etc.
