It amazes me how music can make me feel normal...
With all the sitting home I've been doing for the last 7 weeks, I don't think I turned on the stereo once I think I just completely forgot that it existed! I mean, I sing to the baby, but hell, I needed some real music today. It amazes me how it makes me feel normal again. When all you do is listen to crying all day, it's surely a nice change

It's tough to feel like your normal self again after having a baby. It's good to do some things for yourself, especially when you're always taking care of your baby.

I have a great record of a baby crying if you want to borrow it?
Last night my hub was playing the guitar for Noah and he was transfixed. Have you played your flute for Ava yet??? I bet she would LOVE it! Did she hear it in the womb?? Noah always calms down when we put some music on or sing to him...especially Kraftwerk. He loves when his daddy sings "We are the Robots" to him!!!

Omg, racheeee, you totally reminded me that I have not touched my flute since she was born! OMG, how in the world did I not realize that I have not picked it up in 6 weeks? Oh lordy, I really AM losing it! I know what I'll be doign when she wakes up!

rachel i remember when i watched my niece a few times when she was younger.. certain music on the radio made her stop crying. I would walk around the house with her with her in my arms.. She liked rock and hip hop
does Ava like music???

She loves music, however, it doesn't calm her if she's screaming. She likes it when she's already calm. Figures, right?
