Isn't it weird to think, "If LIF existed 25+ years ago...."
I'd know:
-How much my parents put down on their house.
-Id see my childhood home being renovated by my parents.
-Id know how easy/difficult it was for my mom/dad to conceive me.
-I might know wayyy TMI about their sex life
-I'd know how worried they'd get about me when every little news story broke about hazards for babies/kids.
-I'd be able to see pictures of all of my bday parties
-I'd know how they felt about dogs in stores
-I'd know where they stood on political issues of the day.
And so much more!
LIF would have been/is going to be quite a time capsule!

I just realized that I know a LOT about my parents and family. And that we have a hella lot of pictures (renovations, parties, etc..) that I don't appreciate the way I should.
Now I feel good.

Yeah my parents were good about taking tons of pics when we were growing up too. I only wish they'd offer up some captions or something "there's Melissa... hell of a pain in the @ss to conceive her!!!"
