Is your dog afraid of the vaccum?
My older dog is. I don't understand why.. he has been afraid of it since he was a pup. He goes and hides somewhere and starts shaking.. I feel so bad but hey.. I need to keep the floors clean! My other dog, who is 5 months old, has no fear she runs for it and barks at it.. lol funny how dogs, like children can have totally different personalities

Murray has always been scared of it too, since he was a puppy. He just leaves the room, nothing severe like shaking.

Nope. He barks at it... the mop, swiffer and handheld.  He'll follow it around the whole time barking.

I don't know if she's afraid of it, she is skeptical of it tho and likes to jump around and get all hyper when I bring it out. I let her out when I'm going to use it since the noise prob hurts her ears.

I had a lab that loved to be vacuumed. I take the hose with the brush attachment and go all over his body. It really helped with his shedding!
My lab now just stares at it and doesn't know what to do with it.

Yes! When I vacuum, she finds the nearest hiding spot. And, if it ever goes near her, she RUNS fast!

I WISH THEY WERE AFRAID OF IT!
Everytime I turn it on they wait for me to put the attachment hose on it and then suck it onto the side of their face/body-the dog who likes is is the one we consider "chicken little" bacause she is scared of everything else in the world

My dogs always leave the room or go outside, but they don't shake or act afraid - maybe the noise is just too loud.
