Is this a bad thing for Megan? (night routine)

Does anyone else have "night babies?"

I am not a stickler for strict routine for a 2 month old and Megan has become like Mommy..a night owl! LOL

It works for us right now due to dh's schedule. She goes down at about midnight and doesnt wake up again until about 6 in the morning..takes a bottle and goes down for another 4 hours. It works for us so well right now because my dh is on nights and he needs to sleep in the morning and since we live in a small place, it works that she sleeps in in the morning.

Is this really bad? Is it ok that shes doing this? I mean I figure, as long as shes getting her sleep and is on some kind of routine, its pretty good. Any feedback?

I think its great too because if I try any earlier, she wont go in the bassinet, I have to rock her to go to sleep. But when we do it like this, I put her right in her bassinet, shes coos for a few minutes, and falls right to sleep.

Thats great. Considering they call the shots at this age you are lucky to be getting os much sleep!! (and at night!)

That is what we did with Ali in the beginning - and it worked great!
