Is there such a thing as a stroller.....

That is lightwieght.
Not an umbrella stroller.
Has a "Parent Tray" (cup holder & such).
Has a basket (reasonably sized & durable).
Handles/Steers very well.
Has a "Kid Tray" where I can put Troy's snacks w/i his reach.

I am looking into the following, any feedback on these?

Maclaren Triumph (doesn't have kid or parent tray)
External Image

Baby Planet Solo Deluxe Stroller (has the "wants" but dont know anyone who has one)
External Image

Graco Enzo Ipo (again, seems to have the "wants", but dont know anyone who has one)
External Image
TIA!

I looked at that (online) but it's more than I was hoping to spend.

Um those are all umbrella strollers.Chat Icon

HOw about a Peg Pliko P3? It's a full size stroller, weighs 18lbs, has a basket, a tray for baby and a cup holder for mommy. I LOVE MINE, it's 2 years old and still looks brand spanking new. I use it more than any of the 4 strollers i have had.

Def worth the money, it'll last you through at least 1-2 kids. My 2nd is in it now.

: ) I mean the "classic" umbrella like

I like the Pliko 3 I should really just go check these out in the store. I "deserve" to spend a little more money on a stroller (as I'll be using it), but not sure I can "sell" DH on it.

I second the Peg Pliko P3. It's the ONLY stroller I've had in Thomas' 13 months of life!

Re: Is there such a thing as a stroller.....

Know how i sell DH on a pricey stroller?

Tell him the stroller is an investment, you'll use it for the next baby and YOU GET what you pay for!! If you spend 70 bucks on a stroller, you get 70 bucks worth of stroller. And if you prob will need to buy another one for the next baby or even before #1 is out of it.
and then tell him if you dont love it totally, you're going to make him buy you a new one so it'll be worse to waste money.

The pliko is a great stroller. by far my favorite stroller.

I've spent more time researching strollers in my life than i have houses, cars, mortgages, clothes, college papers, and my career.

I've had 5 strollers from low to high end, and my pliko is still my #1!!!
It'll last you!

We were discussing the stroller I currently use, and he hates it. And he said he wishes we'd spent the money and got a better one

**Just sent him a text message, we're going to BRU tomorrow!

I LOVE my Peg Pliko P3!

What about this one? My sister got a stroller (not this one) from One Step Ahead and she loves it!

Re: Is there such a thing as a stroller.....

I looked at the BabyPlanet one at my BBB---I liked it, steering was just decent--I didn't like that a big 'x'metal part of the frame goes thru the basket. I also liked the Zooper Waltz (looked at in online only)---but I can't find a place that has it. Right now I'm leaning towards the BabyJogger CityMini, which handles awesome and has everything you want (except the kid & parents trays are extras, but you can get them)

Re: Is there such a thing as a stroller.....

I have a Zippy and I bought it online at Albeebaby.com. I bought a discontinued model and got a great deal. $220. I love it, has all the features you want and the canopy is far superior to any other one I've tested since it comes down to the tray and almost completely covers the seat.

How about the Graco Metrolite? It has a huge basket, cupholders for parents and a child's tray & cupholder. I have the Graco Quattro and LOVE it!! I would love it more if it were a bit lighter.

I have the Inglesina Zippy. I also used the carry cot when my son was first born and now I use it as a regular stroller. I love the stroller, but I would not consider it lightweight. I am actually looking for a lightweight stroller that has the things you mentioned.
