Is there anyone else who did not have a scan at 16 weeks

I feel like I have the only office who does not do an ultrasound at 16-17 weeks. I have to wait until 20 weeks booo!!!! Did anyone else have to wait???

yes, no scan at 16 wks. It was 11/12wks then 19/20 wks.

No ultrasound at 16 weeks for me. Generally it goes from 12w to 20w.

So I am not the only one then. I keep seeing everyone post the gender and it's been before 20 weeks and I want to now NOW lol. I was feeling like the only one who had to wait.

Yes, no scan. My 16 week appointment is Thursday...im trying to dredge up some excuse to get an ultrasound....

No scan for me either at 16 weeks. 12, then 20. I didnt know either at the time and I was so disappointed!

Just had my 16 wk appointment on Friday. They took my blood pressure, weight, listened to the hb on a doppler, and took 2 vials of blood. Very quick!

I get sonos at 12 and 20 weeks; I thought that was standard.

At my original OB it was 12w NT scan and 20w anatomy scan. My new practice offered a 16w anatomy scan as well because the lab likes to do it, although it's weird because it's the same lab used by my original practice. Regardless, they told me it was optional because we are low risk, but it's another chance to see the baby and to find out the gender early, so we did it

I had my ultrascreen at 12 weeks then another at 20 where we were told the gender. nothing inbetween.

I did not have one at 16 weeks. I had one at 12 weeks and 20 weeks and then a growth u/s at 32 weeks.

Ugh I go tomorrow and I'm 17 weeks and I get nata! that kills me bc I have to wait till april to see, I think sonos should be once a month, just to put my mind at ease LOL

I don't think I do. Wednesday is our 11/12 week appt and I am going to ask.

We really want to know the gender so I am praying they do one at 16

If not we may pay one of the sono places to do it @ 16 weeks. We can't wait

I was not supposed to have one I only got one cause I was admitted into the hospital and they wanted to check the baby
Otherwise it was 12w and 20w

My Dr. used to do 12 weeks and 20 weeks ONLY -

Just recently he started doing a 36 week one - only b/c he got tired of people b*tching about it and having to explain why he didn't think it was necessary - so he just does it.

my schedule for ultrasounds was 12 w, 19w and then 35w

With DS I had one at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 20 weeks, 32 weeks. That was it.

This time is different for me for a couple of reasons. One is I switched practices and another is I am having twins.
