Is there a place like this on Long Island ?
Its a park with sprinklers for the kids. I hope the picture shows up.

I thought there was on in Wantagh. I am not sure if you have to be a resident to get in.

Steppingstone park in Great Neck has a small play area with something like that, but I think you have to be a resident

Wantagh park has a really cute interactive kiddie area.. I think they also have a sprinkler area..

Lindenhurst has a place like that.
Yeah, it's great! It's called Venetian Shores....I think you can either be a resident & have a pass for your car or you have to pay like $15 to get in, park the car and enjoy the water play area & small beach.
All the kids that go love it!!! They also have a concession stand & live music in the evenings once summer starts. They have BBQ's that you can use and picnic tables too. I think there's a playground, tennis courts and field.

Up until June 22nd, you can get the permit for $30 at Phelps Lane Pool/Park (M-F 9-6). I am actually going to get ours today. Just look up directions to the park...I think the park is in Babylon.
P.S. You need lots of proof of residency. You need your tax bill, a utility bill and vehicle registration. Also they put the sticker right on the car window so make sure you bring the car you'll be using most often.

I went there when I was pregnant last summer, cant wait to take DS this year. They have sprinklers and slides for little ones.

The park in Great neck, on the corner of Barstow and Grace, do not have to be a resident to go there.

YEs Hoyt Farm and I think there's a place in Lindenhurst too called Ventian Shores.
I believe you have to be in Town of Smithtown to get into Hoyt Farm you can go to town hall if you're a town resident and get a sticker which is good for all town beaches.
