is strep bad when u are pregnant?
My dd is sick and got me sick-she tested neg for strep-even though the entire town has it.
I have earache, bad throat--fever-list is endless--I looked into my throat and have pus--I think Ii have strep. Is this real bad?
Im freaking out-they told me to take benadryl-so I did and apparently gave all this to these babies and it didn't even work.
I have to go to high risk--and reg doc now for strep test I guess..and its both my kids birthdays today...
WHat a long bad day.

A few months ago I had a bad sore throat and thought it was strep - people told me that its really not too bad when you are pregnant, but you know the deal - talk to your dr and find out for sure.....

I had strep way early in my PG. I tested negative on the qick strep test, but the doctor said it was definitely strep, so he gave me a round of amoxicllan. My OB said the antibiotics were safer than an untreated bout of strep.

I had strep earlier in my pregnancy and the doctor gave me a low dose of antibiotics to clear it up.

Call your Dr. Strep needs to be treated with antibiotics.
