Is it possible to hate my credit card company???

I hate hate hate Bank of America! I have always been really good about paying my bill. I have always paid it around the 23rd because the date was due around the 26th. When BoA took over, the due date was then the 29th. But I still had it in my head to pay around the 23rd. UNTIL the day when it was due the 22nd. Are we serious??? I know it's my fault because I don't look at the due date, I just pay it at the same time every month. But how friggin sneaky! So I call and ask why the date is so early and I'm told it's fluctuating cycles based on how long the month is. Well, aside from February, every month is pretty much the same give or take A DAY!!!

Sorry to vent, it's just so annoying and deceptive! I've had it with them because this is the second time. One time, I went to pay it online 2 days before the due date and the sneaky &^%&$&% had the dates blocked out so that even paying it online 2 days early, it was still going to be late. Amazing. Now, I know, I know, pay it earlier, but the principal. It's just another way that they get a few more bucks from people.

Your due date can change within a small window of 3-4 four days..i'm not sure why when BOA took over (i have same, i had providan which BOA took over) and I have never had a problem. Know the your range of due dates and pay it 3-4 days before the first day.

I pay everything online so its almost instant on their systems....

Do you know, you can change you billing cycle? call them and ask to change the date range so it lines up with you wanting to pay them at a certain time during the month...

I use to work for Chase for 6 years and i still use Chase..never had a problem with them

to answer your question...yes it IS possible to hate your credit card company. i have a very strong loathing for all of mine. for the reasons that you posted (they are all sneaky azz bastids) and also just for the plain reason that i can.

When BOA took over my MBNA credit card, they changed the due date and I wound up with a late charge.
I wound up getting a really nice rep and he changed the date back and waived the fee.

It's not only possible to hate any credit card company, I think it's, also, mandatory. They are sneaky bast*ards, which is why I haven't had a credit card in over 20 years.
