Is it Ok that I refrigerated pumped milk for a few hours and then put it in the freezer??
I meant to only refrigerate it for a 1/2 hour, but I forgot about it. Thanks!

that's fine.
ETA: I always refrigerate mine for a few hours, as I wait until I have a full 5oz before I freeze it.

Ive done it., but i dont freeze bm anymore and still havent opened the ones i did, so not sure how it worked out.

I think it's preferable to have it in the fridge a little while before switching to the freezer. I think it's fine.

I have never done it b/c I read and was told by many people that it's not good to refrigerate first . I always put it in the freezer asa I pump. I don't know for sure , but that's just what I do.

I was told you have 24 hours to transfer new milk to the freezer. A lactation consultant told me that so I knew I could refrigerate milk at work, then freeze it when I got home.

I used to do it immediately but then heard it should cool b4 you freeze them.
I'm sure w/i 24 hours is fine.
I heard a few girls on here freeze them a few days later, they said as long as its not past the 5 day rule, personally I wouldn't.
