Is it easy to add a backsplash to the kitchen?

Are you tiling?
If you are just adding plain square tiles and no fancy decorative patterns should be fairly easy. Hopefully, he won't have to cut too many. Try to pick a size tile that is as large as possible but divides easily into the space. That will be easier.
