Is Free Credit Report.com really free and is it reputable?
Or is there a better place to get a credit report?

Freecreditreport pushes you to sign up for services which you must cancel in order to not get charged. the below is totally free..
remember, you don't get scores, just reports

i did free credit report and it's free fof 30 days and then when you call to cancel they are a pain in the neck about it, but they'll do it. otherwise it's $12 or 13 a month.

I didn't read the fine print and was charged $15 a month for over a year! 
The first month is free, just remember to cancel it.

yes...DH did this and we had the same problem. i was billed for 2 mo's before i realized what was going on. they did cancel it but god they give you a hard time about it.

Note sure why everyone wants to input there credit info when there is no need to.
If you go to
annualcreditreport.com which was set up in part by the gov't, you don't need any card information. You can access this once a year. I access 1 report every 3 months per year..
freecreditreport is popular only because they have 1111 commercials on tv

I saw that Freecreditreport.com charged after a month. I had it in my head to cancel. But the site above is TOTALLY free (unless you want your credit score, too!).
Learn from my mistake. Call the phone number and have the reports mailed to you unless you don't mind printing out over 30 pages per report!

I used Freecreditreport.com (and paid $12.95 a month) for a year. My credit was terrible and using their site let me log on each month to help me monitor my credit better. Within a year, my score increased by more than 100 poiints. I liked it bc i got alerts when changes were made to my report and I could see my score and full report every month.
If u just want to check your score 1X, not worth it. If u have "issues" and need to work on your credit, it may be worth it.

I was able to get a free report. You are entitled to a free report from each of the agencies so space it throughout the year.
