is crystal light safe to drink????
I drink a TON of water, but sometimes I just need something more.... I dont want all the calories in juice, soda etc. and i know diet soda is out, what about crystal light? TIA

I'm assuming no to crystal light for the same reason as diet soda. I just water down my juices.

i have been adding lemon slices, organge slices and lime slices (not all together!  ) to my water cups and bottles.....livens it up a little!!

i have read the same, splenda ok, aspartame is ok, but in moderation, saccharin=equal, not ok
i used to big diet drinker, now they give me really bad headaches, so i can't even sip something with splenda or atificial sweetners in it. like someone said, i water down my juice, and put lemon or lime in water or seltzer

I have a list from the dr. of artificial sweeteners to NOT have, and aspartame is on the list. The only one that was ok is splenda.

Equal is aspartame. Sweet 'n Low is saccharin. I'm pretty sure the Fruit2o flavored waters are made with Splenda. Maybe you can try them. Also, Pepsi One is made with Splenda, and Coke now has a diet cola made with Splenda.

My doctor also told me that equal was the only one to stay away from, and because I had GD the nutritionist recommended diet sodas and stuff since I had to watch my sugar.
However I checked those one-serving things of crystal light today, because i used to have crystal light but like a lot of the newer drinks with splenda, and I compaired the ingredients and the sweetener in the crystal light was the same as in the splenda, so it is probably safe since splenda is a safer sweetener.
Also these were those little individually wrapped crystal lights that you put into water bottles, not a big container of them.

how abou Gatorade girls? That is what I always use to drink and it has lots of electrolytes that you need.
