Is anyone else annoyed by sheet sets?
Why oh why do they only include TWO pillowcases? Who has only two pillows on their bed??? Ok, I'm sure some people do, but we have a King size bed and four pillows. It's nearly impossible to find pillowcases to match the ones that come in a set, unless they're white (but even then, you have to match the style).
And why do they only put ONE fitted sheet with the set? What do people put over the box spring? You can see our box spring, so I need a fitted sheet for it.
I'd buy separates, but it's always so much more expensive, and the sheets are always so plain!

so true! and we have a king bed but not king pillows...just because we have a big bed doesn't mean our heads are that large.

I hear ya on the pillow cases...we have 2 king and one regular pillow each!!
I dont have the problem with my boxspring...I always use a bedskirt on my bed. That covers the boxspring

I completely agree. Its the same thing as why hot dogs are sold in packs of 10, but the buns come in packs of 8. It drives me insane. Just include the other 2 pillowcases PLEASE!!

Beth, I would totally do regular sized pillows, but then we'd need 3 across and I'd still be totally sc rewed with the pillowcases!

I never liked king pillows either but after we used them for a bit...I cant sleep on the regular sized pillows!!

I absolutely LOATHE putting the pillowcases on those giant king pillows. I practically work up a sweat getting those things on! But I just love how big and snuggly they are

Good one! I would have DH do the same, but one time I asked him to put the fitted sheet on and he put it on sideways. How he didn't notice that one side was way too long and the other side was way too tight is beyond me

The last time we bought sheets was at this huge sale at Bloomingdales and we lucked out - the sets we bought had a bonus set of pillow cases!! Except that we have 5 pillows on our bed because DH needs to hug one all night. The big baby.

That's a great trick to keep you from asking him to make the bed again.

Hmm....I never thought about that. My mom has a headboard and footboard on her bed, and she has a hard time finding a bedskirt that fights right. I wonder if she ever thought about using a fitted sheet....

You can see here how it would look with no bedskirt. The box spring would show so you have to put a fitted sheet on it.
