It depends on if you have other signs also. I would not say that alone is a sign but I have heard of women saying that one of their first signs was serious congestion/head cold. But it also usually goes along with other signs.

I've heard that congestion comes later. I've never heard of a sore throat as a sign...but you never know!

Maybe in July or something but there the cold that's going around my family and friends (and office) starts as a sore throat so I don't know that I'd move to pregnancy from that. Do you have other signs?
