Is 9.5 weeks to early to feel kicks for #2?

I have felt two sharp kicks tonight, much more than flutters. I am only 9.5 weeks. I remember DSs kicks and these feel like his but I experienced them much later. I remember that I felt flutters with DS at 15 weeks but kicks happened much later on. Can I feel actual kicks at 9.5 weeks?

to be completely honest with ya' - they say that people on their second feel them earlier - but i think that's a tad early.....

according to babycenter.com ....the baby is only the size of a grape now - which might be too small...

maybe gas???

Believe me - I have had my fair share of gas.Chat Icon I feel badly for DH b/c it is BAD. I also vividly remember stretching and round ligament pains and it does not feel like that at all. I still think my obgyn put my date much later than it should be - I have my 12 week u/s this month so we will see if I am right and I reqally am further along.

At 9.5 weeks it would not be kicks..the baby is wayyy too small to be able to feel movement yet. I would think its even too early for flutters.

Unless you are a few weeks further than you thought, it would def. not be kicks!

I dont know if the baby's big enough for you to feel kicks yet. It may just be your body adjusting and growing to accomodate the baby.

9.5 weeks is definately too early. I did feel #2 earlier, but at 14 weeks instead of 16.

I think it is a little early to feel "kicks". I am pregnant with #2 and I *think* I felt flutters around 12 weeks this time but it was a really light sensation. Around 17 weeks I started to feel a lot of constant movement this time around - I was feeling flutters before that but this is when it became more like little kicks.
