Is $240 for 1 hour reasonable for a plumber?
He came to my house last week, he had to replace a pipe near the dishwasher and connect my kitchen sink. I knew that it was going to be pricey but wow! Is this the norm?

That is about right. My husband is a licensed plumber. He charged you for the job probably, not by the hour. A good plumber is pricey.
