Irene!!! Go away!
I am supposed to go to North Carolina on Friday for my nephews first birthday party. I havent seen him in 7 months and now a hurricane is coming. Possibly a major hurricane. We rented a beach house too.  I have been looking forward to this for months and now we may have to cancel!! Pray it turns left!!

Many prayers it turns right and out to sea. We are watching it for here too. Irene could hit LI on Sunday. At least if she hits here it won't be as powerful as NC.

My coworker is in Florida until Friday, my boss goes to FL on Thursday.
I'm taking DS to Baltimore/Sesame this weekend - it can't rain!!!!
Irene was NOT invited on my vaca!

I've been looking forward to my girls trip with DD, my sister & mom all summer. We leave for Florida on Thursday. Irene had better not ruin this vacation for me!

Oh boy, we're going on a cruise to Bermuda out of NJ on Saturday! I think Irene may be gone by then but hope there isn't another behind her!

At least you are going Sat - we are leaving out of NJ on Sunday. I'm so upset b.c we never get to take vacations anymore and this will be the last for a few years and it looks like we might miss a day or who knows if it hits Sunday.
