Interesting to see who is willing to help people....
A little while ago after getting my nails done I found that I was stuck in the space that I was in due to the snow/ice. My car would not budge. So I called DH who came with a shovel. I was on a major road in our town. As people passed by they looked and pointed at us trying to get the car out. There were many men who passed by....not one offered help. This girl came out of a shop and helped us. She was pretty young. She started digging out the tires and helped my DH push the car. Then two other young girls helped to push the car. We would have been stuck without these girls! I am so grateful for these girls!

I think that it's both sweet and surprising that a girl would go out of her way to help another girl.
But you know what... I would have been way more comfortable have a girl help me w/o DH there.

Well I was with my DH....I was in the car...he was outside shoveling...so maybe they saw him and not me

glad you're okay kathleen! i guess chivalry really is dead! i always go out of my way to hold a door open for someone or help when needed cause i would want someone to help me if i were in that situation. pay it forward!

I know...now I need to find someone to help I felt bad I wanted to give them something or take down their names but they just walked away

unfortunately in this day and age, we've become so paranoid and non-trusting that we are reluctant to help people
you never know who you're dealing with

Glad you found someone to help you.
We helped a few people out who were stuck on the road this past week - and i've always found people willing to help me too.
There are definitely some good people out there - glad you found two of them.
