interesting doc in th box visit! Must read~!
Get this I went to the doc in the box for my sinus issues.. and the guy was like you dont look sick :( then he asked me my symptoms and said I may or may not have an infection.. Then asked me what I can take.. and said hmm maybe penacylin.. let me check.. left the room came back 15 minutes later and than said here is a script for amoxiclyn but dont take this unless you really have to? then I say well my ears are clogged too and he said oh ya let me check that.. then checks and says all clear.. then I said I wanted to make sure nothing got inmy lungs.. then he says oh ya let me double check that as well.. ummm HELLLOOOOOO .. shouldnt he know what to do!!!! then he said all clear your fine.. maybe just try a nettipot..  oh well.. there goes that 20.00 co pay that wasnt worth the visit.. Now I don't know what to do.. what would you guys do???

Double check his medical license!!! Lol. Sorry, but thats just ridiculous!! I've never encounterd a doc in a box like that!!
Personally I would contact my pcp or ob and see if they could squeeze me in. Feel better!!

I think she means those walk in urgent care places?
Either way, I wouldnt go to those places now you're pregnant. You should call your OB and your PCP and see which one your OB wants you to see. When I was sick, my ob wanted me to see my PCP. Don't let it get worse! I did and now I have bronchitis!

I would shell out another $20 and go to your PCP that guy sounds like he has no idea what he was doing!

oops.. sorry the urgent care place.. My friends and I call it doc in the box but didnt realize no one knows what it means usually, lol!!!

Ya I only went there because my regular doc hours are the same hours I am in work and I am training a new girl so I cant leave and go.. I am goin to wait til saturday and go to my primary doc in the morning to see if they can squeeze me in then. Thx guys. I knew I wasnt crazy.. they guy was out of his mind!! haha
