Innotab vs. leappad (any experience?)

DS is 2.5. He LOVES my phone and plays angry birds like a pro.

I am thinking of getting him one of the kids tablets.

I am torn between the 2. Both say 4-9 years but, comments say that 2 and 3 year old can use "some" of the apps.

LeapPad: Camera and video camera.
More apps for younger kids.
But, seems to be all educational games (don't get me wrong, I like that, but, sometimes a kid just needs a fun game)

InnoTab:
No camera but, you can upload pics from the camera by this brand.
It can also hold MP3's and full length movies.
Removable Sd card.
They are saying that they are releasing 100 more apps by Christmas.

Price is more or less the same.. Maybe 10-15 $ difference.

I just wish one of them allowed apps like, angry birds, talking tomcat or the drumming app that Liam loves.

I just want his slimy hand off my smart phone!

Any experience or feedback is appreciated. I am feeling lost. I have read a million comparisons and I am overwhelmed.
