I am confused, how can the Britax go from being the top-rated one year to unacceptable the next? Did they change the test or something? AS far as I know the only thing that changed was the bar to prevent it from hitting the seat in a collision.

I think that the britax CONVERTIBLE seats are the highest rated ones.
This study is on Infant seats only .
I wanted to try to see the convertible seat report, but I dont have a CR's membership.
