In light of my dad, I just registered to be a bone marrow donor!!!!
Im excited. I hope that one day i could donate my bone marrow to help someone in need. It feels so good that one day i could save someone's life.

Good for you!!! That's a wonderful thing!
I know a girl who developed leukemia in her late twenties. She had a 7 month old baby girl. An unknown donor from Florida saved her life! She is almost at the five year mark.
You should be proud of yourself!

It costs $52 for the kit, where you swab your cheek and send it in. Thats it. If you are a match for someone they contact you and then thats when they do a physical and health check.

My Dh donated his BM to an unknown male who had cancer unfortunately he didnt make it but it was worth the try..
