IMPORTANT provera question!
I started taking provera last week. I was supposed to take one pill for 7 days to bring on my period but in the meanwhile my gyno told me to schedule an internal sonogram as soon as possible. I stopped taking the provera after only 2 pills because when I counted it up, it seemed as if af would come exactly the day of the sonogram.
Now today I woke up with what seems like my period (yay or maybe not??). Do you think after only 2 pills the provera worked or do you think this is me getting it on my own!?! Of course its a holiday so no doctors are in so I have no one to call...anyone know???

ewwww...that's a tough one. I would think it was the Provera cuz it can take up to ten days after you stop taking it to work. But, of course, the only way to be sure is to talk to the dr., I am going to say it's the Provera though, cuz the first time I was given it, I was only on it for five days and got AF about ten days later...after that I was on it for seven days and got AF within a few days of stopping.
I hope this doesn't interfere with your sono.

You can get a u/s done while you have AF....my Re always does a sono....day 3. The provera probably brought on your AF. Hopefully it will be a full flow AF...

My RE just did my cd3 sono on Saturday They can do it with AF.

Yes I figured it could be done with my period but an re or doctor isnt doing it...its one of those radiological places so I just felt a little more comfortable not having it then.
I am just wondering if this is my af on its own or is it provera induced? I didnt think 2 days of the pill when its a 7 day pill was enough to make me start. In any case, I have the clear blue fertility monitor and I think I will enter this as my first day of my cycle and just test just in case. I know provera doesnt bring on ovulation so I guess I will know in 2 weeks. I am praying though this was my own body!

Well it looks like it was provera induced. Its already going away and was never a "real" flow. UGH!!!!!!!!!!
