I'm thinking of hosting an "At home party" need suggestions

What other hings are there besides:
Tupperware
Pampered Chef
PartyLite
Lia Sophia

I'd like to plan a gtg with some friends. I had a Lia Sophia party a few mos ago, and not sure I want 2 do that again, b/c I rarely wear the jewelry. Don't want to do PartyLite b/c I had 1 last year and the last thing I need is more candles :)

Any other suggestions??

TIA

OT but why aren't there "at home parties" geared toward men?

Maybe I'll start a whole new business! We'll sell stuff for man caves! Instead of hostesses, I'll have "Cave Men"! Just think of the possibilities!

I think a tool/gadget party would be an excellent idea for me.

I agree. I had one by Slumber Parties two years ago and it was SO much fun! And Jill, if you knew me well, you would know that that is the LAST kind of party anyone would imagine me hosting, but I would totally do it again!

Otherwise, I also enjoyed a Tastefully Simple party I attended...a lot of great products too!

you know, you don't come off as one I'd think of first to host a "toy party" Chat Icon

I'd do this, but there MAY be some children present Chat Icon

I asked DH for suggestions on a date at first he said "Just have everyone over and dont try to sell them anything. Chat Icon what fun is that!?!?! Chat Icon

Then he said he wants to have a BBQ- maybe we'll just do that.

I went to a slumber party and had a blast. Most certainly can't have kids there though.

If only I'd known you then, ErinChat Icon

I attended a Southern Living at Home party and the stuff was really nice, but a little pricey.

I think the "toy" party I attended was a Passion Party and that was a lot of fun! I would go to one again.

I went to one of these...it was a lot of fun! I think it was called Slumber Parties.

ETA: Just saw there might be kids there, so I guess this idea is out! What about Tastefully Simple or Pampered Chef?
