I'm freaking out-- my neighbor's house was robbed!
There are about 6 cops cars outside and cops all over the place. It's pretty scary. We lived in the city for a number of years and I was never scared there the way I am right now...
I just feel so vunerable ever since having DD. Does anyone else ever feel like this???

Wow what town do you live in? I just saw on the news that there were three home invasions on LI in the past two day. One home invader posed as a Fed Ex delivery man! Just be careful and make sure you lock all doors and windows.

How scary! I am so fearful of being at home alone - of real and imagined things, I wont even go in the basement. I've definitely found it harder as a parent, to have small kids and not be afraid. My DH works some overnighters so I dont sleep as well those nights.

I am soooo scared..my house was robbed while on vacation when I was little, and I have been scared ever since.. my mom always told me they do not break in while you are home.. but my has that changed...
This is also the reason we are in an apt and not a house yet because no where is safe.. I am more scared now having my little one then ever... it happens in all neighborhoods..
