If you're baby has suffered from constipation

What formula do you find works best? The doctor put my DS on Nutrimagen b/c he was suffering from constipation. He was doing really well on it for a while but for the past few days he's been constipated again. I hate to change his formula again b/c it was really working pretty well. What formula works well for your constipated baby? Or do you have any other suggestions of what I can do. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated Chat Icon

GoodStart worked well for us
along with
BioGaia probiotic
along with
chamomile tea (our ped recommended it, I made it like this:

1 cup boiling water
1 teabag of 100%chamomile
1 tsp fennel seeds

steep for 10 minutes, add 1 tsp sugar

I would give 2 oz at a time, it calmed him and helped him poop.

When DS was uncomfortable, but not more than once every 3 hours between meals. We got the okay to give up to 8oz a day at that time.

When we started DD on formula she was a little constipated so ped told us to give her a little prune juice every couple days (1/2 oz prune juice mixed with 1 oz of water). Worked like a charm. When we made the switch to Similac Sensitive she no longer had constipation issues.
