If you use a sound machine in your nursery...
All I hear on my baby monitor is the sound machine, I don't hear the tiny grunts DS is making. We finally put him in his own room and I'm nervous I wont hear him.
and not to mention the ac on lowest setting is soooo loud!
How do you deal with this, and if isn't an issue what baby monitor are you using?

We have the same issue. We use the static on the am radio.

I have always used a sound machine and DS's ac is very noisy but I always heard him. The monitor in his room was near his crib, where is yours?

We deal with this but I always felt like I didnt need to hear the tiny grunts. When he cries or makes a substantial noise, I hear him. I also try to put the sound machine far away from the monitor.
