I only registered for one small because I read some babies aren't big fans of them. I registered for 3 of the sleep blankets because I thought I would get more use out of those.

I registered for a Halo Swaddle Me set which I believe has one newborn size and one small. Then I registered for a heavier weight, warmer one of the Halo Sleep Sacks in small.

I registered for 2 in small. Once they grow out of small, they are usually big enough to start kicking out of them anyways.

I registered for one small Miracle Blanket at BBB. I heard that is the original ultimate swaddle blanket.

We didn't register for any. My cousin's wife bought us one when DD was born because she said they couldn't live without it for their daughter. When we found out she wouldn't sleep without it, we went out and bought another one so that I could bring it to my ILs b/c they watch DD during the day during the week.
ETA: We just recently had to buy the larger one. DD is 4 1/2 months.

I have two from my DD and honestly she didn't like them at all and I found a blanket easier to use to swaddle anyway so I never used them...I would keep in mind that they might not work for your baby so either keep the number small to begin with or keep the receipts in case you want to return them.

I register for two. My sister has new ones that she never used b/c my nephew was not a fan of them. SHe used regular baby blankets. So, we shall see what mine likes...;)

Just my personal experience with them, bearing in mind my DS was almost 10 lbs when he was born- To me they were a big waste, they looked good on the package and never really worked well- I have on the other hand heard good things about the Miracle blanket...again, just my experience
