If you had a dessert/candy buffet table at KofC-type hall....

If you had a dessert/candy buffet table at KofC-type hall....
did you have it out the whole time or set up after the meal?
The food buffet tables aren't in the main room--so I won't exactly be able to keep my eye on it the whole time.
If they can fit it, should I ask to set up a table in the main room and have the candy out the whole time or should I just set it up after they take away dinner?

we had SDs sweet 16 at KoC in Oceanside, the candy buffet was set up and the table was moved into position by the staff when it was time for it.
At my GS's Christening last week we were in a catering hall, it was set up the whole time but the older kids were dying to take candy before it was time. I'm sure if it was in another room it would have been violated LOL
