Would you say something?

ETA: Sorry I was posting on my phone.

I will explain better. It was a 4 pack of tix to something.

It was through a blog.

You have to do certain things to enter to win a blog contest/giveaway.

For each entry, you have to post a comment.

Then a random number is drawn through an online random number drawing.

The number entered as the max amount of entries was wrong which would change the winner.

I know I wouldn't have won because I was up higher but someone else should have won.

Does that make more sense?

if it doesn't directly affect you (make you the winner, or admit it you should not have won) I would not say anything. Let it go this time and see if it happens again.

I might, so that both people can win (I would hope that they wouldn't take the prize away from the announced winner, just add a second winner too).

I did say something because it got me thinking that if the right number was put in, a different winning number would have been generated and I could have won.

Her response was she doesn't have the time to double check things like thisChat Icon

Then don't offer giveaways then.

After several personal involvement in such giveaways or other personal experiences, I know that winners are not necessarily picked the way you would think is fair.

I have won before but really wondered why I won.

I know I have "benefited" from networking with some people to go ahead, but only found out afterwards that a connection helped me. I did not do it to bypass someone intentionally.

I also know that "the first 25 people" are not always the first 25 people if "friends" are involved.

I have learned that nothing is really random anymore or not "fixed".

Such is life! You live and learn. Especially after the kind of answer you got.

i think if its just a blog giveaway, then no, definitely not, even if I would have been the winner.
