If my baby is measuring small..
does that usually mean she will be born after the due date? I had a growth sono today and she is measuring a week to a week and a half behind (I'm 37 weeks). I realize this is something I should ask my doctor but it didn't occur to me at the time and I thought perhaps some of you may have experienced this. Any feedback would be appreciated

My DS measured small ( I was never told he was behind in weeks) But I was told to be prepared for a 4.5 lbs baby - He was 6 lbs 10 oz. 3 weeks early - I would not be worried about the growth sono - JMO

I had one sonogram just a week before my daughter was born and they said she was about 5lbs 5oz...she was born exactly one week later, at 36 weeks, and she weighed....7lbs 15oz!

I got my due date from my 8 week dating ultrasound. By 25 weeks she was only measuring 24 weeks. I had her 2 days after my due date.

On the opposite end, DS always measured big and he was a week late. The day before my induction they told me he'd be atleast 9lbs and he was born 7.11.

Same here - only he was 6 weeks early & 6lbs 7oz.
I wouldn't worry about it either. I think the measurments are extremely inaccurate after the first trimester. If you were measuring small at 9 weeks than I would think differently.
Your baby is almost here!
