I bought chicken Thursdays night, kept in fridge and cooked last night.
I'll keep it in the fridge for awhile, as long as it isn't over its date...
But, once its frozen, that's a different story

sometimes it takes 2 days for chicken to defrost for me. i think you'll be okay

I will keep chicken from the freezer in the fridge up to 2 days, cooking it on the 3rd. Is this bad ?

It should be fine, as long as you keep it in the fridge. Open it up and make sure it doesn't smell.

i think you're fine as long as its been in the fridge.... i freeze chicken and then put it in the fridge for like 2 days to defrost before i cook it.... i think as long as you have had it in the fridge, its not gonna be bad in a day....

if it was defrosted already in the fridge, I would not cook it after today. I wouldn't take any chances with chicken!

As long as it doesn't have an odor, isn't excessively slimy, and you make sure to cook it to 165 degrees, you'll be fine.

I've done that a few times - sometimes I have cooked it - and sometimes I have tossed it. You can tell by the smell and look of it when you open the package.
ETA: As I like to say about this since it has happened to me alot:
When in doubt - Throw it Out!
