If DD doesn't stop whining and saying "mom" all day I'm gonna lose it!!!

OMG she's been so clingy and cranky. Down to one nap lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. I'm about to lose it.
Is this normal 16 month old behavior??? Or is this my mommy has been home with me all summer and I'm going to drive her crazy so she wants to go back to work?

ETA: Up from her nap and already calling me and whining. I need a vacation from my summer vacation.

I know how you feel. We all need a baby break sometimes.

I was supposed to go out to lunch with my friend today. I had my MIL all ready to watch DD and my friend cancelled. I actually cried... Lol... Im right there with you!

I hear you. I feel like it's that point in the summer where the kids and parents are going a little loopy.

Yes - normal. Is she getting teeth? DS has been getting his eye teeth FOREVER and he goes through bouts of that. He also has tantrums when he doesn't get his way.

ETA - HIs daycare teacher says the whole class has been the same way.
