If anyone is looking for a bereavement group
I got this at work today, thought I would pass it on here.
NORTH SHORE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Department of Psychiatry
BEREAVEMENT GROUP
HAVE YOU LOST A LOVED ONE?
IF SO, YOU CAN TALK ABOUT IT HERE…
Our group provides a safe environment in which to discuss
and share your feelings about this difficult time in your life.
Receive support and feedback from others going through
the grieving process.
The group meets every Thursday from
6:00 - 7:15pm
at
400 Community Drive
(Entrance 5 of North Shore University Hospital-Manhasset)
REIMBURSEMENT MAY BE AVAILABLE THROUGH MAJOR INSURANCE CARRIERS. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY FOR MORE INFORMATION.

DH and I attended our bereavement counseling here after our son died. I will let anyone here who is wondering about North Shore that without that bereavement group we attended, I would have crumbled. We attended a group just for parents who lost their babies/pregnancies but it was a wonderful group
