Ideas for 1st birthday gifts.. what your dc loved?
My dd is turning 1 in sept.. (still cant believe it  ).. Family is asking me what to get her.. I have no clue..
I feel like all the great 1st birthday gifts are used in the summer time. We live in the upper section of a house and have limited space and baby #2 coming in February.
What are some gift ideas that you got your dc and they really enjoyed? If its something they really loved I dont mind taking up space for it.

some got this gift for DC earlier that a year but my DD LOVES her laugh and learn house from FP. i have a really tiny house but even though this is on the "bigger" side it doesn't take up that much room. you can put it against the wall and its not in the way. at this point it is really one of the only toys that my DD plays with.

she got a few different ones. Her favorites seem to be the ones that eyes open and close and she can give them paci's or bottles.

Ball pit?
Playhouse?
Pretend Play stuff..food, pans, etc.?

Since she is not walking independently-She has a lion ride on thats also a walker by Fiisher price. She loves it.

Sydney seems to like the Fisher Price Animal Sounds Farm and her Step 2 kitchen - but it's only been a week since her birthday. She also got an adorable pink ride-on - it's a horse and there is a button you push and it makes a galloping sound and plays music - again, she's only had it a week - but she loves listening to the music it plays.
eta: my parents got her a radio flyer wagon and she LOVES taking rides in it.

DS turned 1 last week, but i am having his bday party the first week of Sept. I am telling anyone who asks to get him clothes. I havent bought him much fall stuff yet so its perfect timing.
ALSO - DS has the FP laugh and learn house and kitchen...LOVES them both. They entertain him for hours...

DD *loves* this "Band in a box" by Melissa & Doug. I think the age says 3 but she's 13 1/2 months and just loves it!

Both my girls for their 1st birthday got the FP learning/musical Chair, they LOVE IT!
Both girls use it everyday to sit..i put puffs or goldfish in the little cup too. Prob one of our most used toys.

My DS is obsessed with doors, so I plan on getting him the learning home (he loooves it at day are)
Also, my mom took him around in a wagon this weekend (I would never have tried this for fear of him climbing out)..but she has had 7 kids an 10 grandkids and doesn't worry like I do. He LOOOOVVVEEEDDDD it! I so have to get him one (with a seatbelt of course)..he didn't move an inch, just anjoyed the ride!
