I was watching Degrassi Next Generation today..
and some of the old characters from Degrassi Jr High were on - I was so excited! 
Did anyone else watch Degrassi? Are the old episodes still on anywhere???

i downloaded all the degrassi Jh and high episodes on my computer a few years ago....i believe they sell them on dvd now too my bff has them

I happen to see part of one, when noggin ended at 6. and I saw that one of the characters is the son of the girl that was pregnant (with the spikey hair) - I thought that was a nice tie in.

I was a big Degrassi fan. Thrilled the new generation had Joey, Caitlin, Spike & Snake. I got hooked for a while. But, missed the last season entirely.

I think she show is about how the degrassi jr high kids are grown up and these are their kids or something like that.. I hear the Next generation is totally wild and racy.. I haven't watched it fully.. I only catch bits and pieces

I'm obsessed with the next generation. I DVR it every fri night and FH makes fun of me and tells me I watch the worst T.V ever and I shouldn't be allowed to be in charge of the remote but I see him catching peeks of the screen when I put it on AND he knows who all the characters are, which he's not proud of. It is a little out there though, there is not one character who hasn't, had an abortion, a baby, a drug addiction, a STD, been shot (stabbed, or/and killed), had cancer. I'm sure there's a lot I'm leaving out!

I love it, and FH claims to hate it, but he sneaks peeks too.
i think after 7 years they are running out of pltlines so they have to keep upping the ante.
Don't forget 2 instances of internet stalking and 2 instances of racy photos/videos.
There were also 2 rapes.

I am obsessed with this show!!
I discovered that the N has been running episodes all day Saturday and Sunday  So I am way caught up on all the dirt!
And I LOVE hearing them say "sorry" and "about" (a-boot)

Dave & I and our friend Katie are OBSESSED WITH THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Casey - i can lend you whatever you want! We have the ORIGINAL series on DVD, both Jr & High.....and we have the first few series of Next Gen!
We've even gone to Canada (on our yearly trip) and gone to the Jr. High and High school where they filmed the original show!!!!!!!
