36 1/2 weeks into this pregnancy and now I have 2 stretch marks on my belly

only 2? consider yourself lucky...
i lucked out with no heartburn so far (knock on wood), but made up for it in the nasty, veiny, stretchmark department

I thought the same and then they started at 32.5 weeks.  So much for my olive oil/lotion cocktail I rubbed all over me every night!

Yeah I don't think there's any such thing as in the clear. I got a whole crop of them at the end. Sorry.

same thing happened to me, but i was 38 weeks!!! got out of bed one morning looked down and there were alot more then 2 strecth marks.

That is exactly what happen to me and the spread like wild fire. But they do fade after time and now you can only see them if you really look close.
