I thought 3 months things got better!!!
DS turned 3 months on Sat. Friday and Sat he was a dream child. He was smiling only cried when hungry or tired. He slept from 9:30pm-7:30am straight!! I thought we had turned the corner. Yesterday he was fussier. Still managable, but definately fussier. Last night he woke every 2 hrs. Today he has cried, no screamed, almost all day. Why has he gone backwards?!?

I don't think the change is a sudden turn, but more like a gradual change towards being easier. Overall, you should start having more good days than bad, but I think all of our babies still have bad days, regardless of age. Hang in there, it should be getting better for you both.

Things didn't get better for me until 6 months. That was our "magic" age. I hope it gets better for you soon.

i know 3 months is growth spurt time....i remember saying the same thing- why is DD waking up every 2 hours at nite, etc etc.......could be, who knows?

What I find is that although they will have their fussy "spells" they get fewer and farther bewteen. but just when you think you have a handle on them, they go through growth spurts, teething, and generally more awareness of the world around them, which means more wants and needs outside of feedings, changes, and cuddles!
