I think I pi$$ed off a friend and I feel bad

I'm home sick today, checking email from home on the work server, and a person I freelance for told me he's looking for some part time people over where he is. I sent it to a friend on her private email (we work together) but probably should have first sent it to MY private email. Anyway, I think she got a little mad at me even though I deleted it from the work account. Technically, some things do stay on the server. I guess I thought since it was freelance/pt it wasn't too bad, but I can tell I upset her anyway. I called to apologize but I feel bad. I hate when people are mad at me...because it usually rarely happens and if it does, I beat myself up. She wasn't rude to me, and kinda made a joke about it, but I know her. She was mad, if even for a minute.

im confused why shoe would get mad- do you think her boss will read the email and think shes looking for another job?

either way im sure she will get over it quickly

if shes really that mad, over you sending her a SIDE job email, which should not threaten her employer because its a SIDE job, then she really needs to lighten up


you did a nice thing by sending her the job so dont beat yourself up over it

hey Lana--I get like that too....you apologized and she'll get over it--try not to beat yourself up over it. That is what I tend to do and then it's much worse for you than it actually is.

you aplogized, there's nothing more you can do. everyone makes mistakes. and if she is still mad at you, that is her own dumb hangup!
