I swear those Magic Touch/Dead Sea skin care people are like Hanibal Lecter
"It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."
I have complained eleventy billion times before about these people. This time, at the Source Mall, they were doubled up - one on each side of the kiosk. I was trapped. I tried to hide behind people. I didnt think fast enough to reach for my phone and fake a conversation. The pushy lady came up to me and started with her "Can I ask you a question?" So I put my hand up and kept walking. Would you believe this BEE-YOTCH actually gave ME an attitude and said "Uch!"?
If I wasnt so damn tired, I would have walked back to her, told her lotion was a bunch of crap and stuck the bottle in a "secret place."

I am not a mean person....but I turn into SUPER BEYOTCH when confronted with them....I usually just make it like I havent heard them and keep walking...
One actually stood in front of me once blocking my path..it was at that point that I explained to her exactly what I was going to do with her product if she didnt step AWAY!!! (I was 8 months preggo at the time..blame it on the hormones)

That has been my "technique" so far but I have also used my DS as an excuse such as "oh sorry, my son pooped and I have to go change his diaper".

I got suckered into buying their products one time and I'll never let it happen again. Not because they're products aren't good (they're actually great), but they are so damn pushy. If I was interested, I would approach their booth. I also avoid Gadgets and Gizmos because of the pushy salespeople. I don't enjoy shopping with somebody breathing down my neck and questioning my every move.

I bought that stuff- and I didn't think it was great
so when they start with the can I ask you a question crap
I smiles and say- you don't want to know what I think of your products
that ends it every time

I have resorted to my dh's line when they say can I ask you a question I reply "you just did" and keep going.
That is of course only when the like jump out of NO WHERE and I don't have my phone to the ear having a conversation with no one

haha---when they do that--and say "can i ask you a quesiton?" my DH responds with "you just did" and usually they are kind of stunned into silence for a second as they re-think what he said--since he's right.
