I stopped someone from buying the wrong carseat for their kid tonight

Ok, normally, I mind my own business. However, tonight I was in Target with my girls. I overheard this couple discussing a car seat for their kid. They were about to buy a backless booster(just the bottom) for there DS that just turned 2 . I could not bite my tongue. I knew that they did not know they shouldn't based on what I heard them say. I totally walked over and said. He is waaay to little for that. Rattled off some height/weight/age regulations and recommedations. At 1st they were like really? Then they were so thankful and so nice to me. The sad part was they had 2 older kids. At first, I was worried they would tell me to MYOB but in the end I was glad I said something.

You did the right thing. I often feel that I am the mother of hundreds. We all take care of each other like kindred spirits.
