I saw a tree at Huntington Hospital...

That I've never seen before.... It was really cool!!!!

It had purple/pink flowers all over it, It was about 5'-6' tall, I don't remember seeing a lot of green. The flowers were lilac-ish but on every branch.

Does any one know what type of tree I'm talking about???

If it's a tree (not a shrub) with lilac type flowers, maybe a wisteria?

Thanks but thats not it... It was tall and had a lot of branches sticking out. You could not see any bark, the flowers covered the bark

I think I know what you're talking about and I've seen several in my neigborhood. They're gorgeous!! I took a picture of something similar at the Philly Zoo last week, but this is bigger than the ones you're talking about I think. Also, the branches on the ones in my neighborhood sort of stick straight up...but it is very similar to this...

They're all over the area (Huntington). They're called Eastern Redbud trees.
