I never thought of doing this. Info on car seat.
A friend shared this on Facebook. I think it's important, but instead of all DS's info I may just put, "in case of emergency, call" and put my mom's number. Thought I would share!Child info on car seat

Never even thought to do that. I remember doing "ICE - in case of emergency" numbers programmed into my cellphone.

Did anyone get those "whale" stickers from nassau county? I thought it was to label the car seat w/ your info but DH insisted it was just for children who had medical/health issues going on...

I just made them the other day and have to put them in DS & DD's seats.
The whale stickers were for everyone as far as I know

I got the whale stickier from the town of Hempstead when they installed my car seat. Just make sure that you place the sticker in a location that is not visible to people walking by your car - I placed it on the underside of the carseat. The whale sticker also came with whale symbol stickers for the car bumper and window so that emergency personnel know to look for it.

How do you get the whale stickers? I've always had all of our seats installed by TOH and never got one. Last install/safety check was in June/July.

I read this on facebook too but my first thought was that I wouldnt want that much info about my child on a sticker on a carseat that anyone can see. And if you hide it, how will emergency people know to look for it?
