I need an embroidery place...so mad at PB
I ordered stockings from Pottery Barn 2 years ago for our family of 3 and had our names put on them. We was PG with our 2nd child but did not order a stocking at that time. I have since gotten another matching stocking. I called PB in Walt Whitman the other day to ask if I can come in and have them send it out for embroidery and they said no, they don't do the embroidery through the store. Then I called Customer Service and they told me they have a strict policy against this. They will not embroider anything that is not attached to an order number and since I didn't order it online (told them I bought it in the store) they won't do it.
So now, I need to find someplace to get the embroidery done, and search for someplace where the font will match b/c I don't want the baby's to be different than the rest of us.
Any suggestions? I tried Things Remembered and they said they don't embroider in the store, and don't do anything that isn't bought there. Then I tried an airbrush/embroidery place in Smithhaven Mall and was told they aren't doing any more embroidery until after the holidays.

Thats ridiculous!! Try the Tri county flea market. Ive had a few things embroidered there. There is a guy in the back on the first floor, I usually just walk around and find him (its like a maze there  )

There is an embroidery place on RTE. 110, just south of walt whitman, right after Pizza Hut.

dont know if they are still there but there is/was an embroidery place in the attias flea market (ex used to get jackets done there)

There's an embroidery place in Rockville Centre. I think it's called Embroider Me or something like that.

My poor son's stocking still doesn't have his name on it and this is his 3rd Christmas. He doesn't know the difference. Don't stress and just deal with it after the holidays.

there's an embroid me right in huntington station basically down the street from the walt whitman mall. i had things embroidered there for wedding gifts and i was happy with them.
it's in the shopping center in front of chipotle at the intersection of 110 and wolf hill road.

Excellent place in Queens, just ordered a bunch of hats for my sons hockey team and it come out great ... A & J Woodhaven Blvd. in Ozone Park

They closed - sorry!
I think the one in Huntington may have closed, too  - def call before you go.
There's a place on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, between Target and the BJs shopping center, on the same side of the road as Target. It's a mom/pop type of place, they might be able to do it!

I just had my DD's PB stocking embroidered at Embroid Me near Walt Whitman. We did the same thing - had ordered ours a few years ago and bought a couple blank ones to match to use down the line.
They don't have the exact same font as PB but it was pretty close - you can't really tell the difference unless you are looking for it. It was $25 to do - that was their minimum price - and it was done pretty quickly. The woman was very nice there too!
